Description

Beginning in 1976, French manufacturer Rossignol started building it's freestyle skis in Vermont. The new Rossignol Freestyle ski was designed as a freestyle ski from the start, a first for Rossignol. Using technology from their ST Comp slalom racer, Rossignol used a woven fiberglass sock to enclose the Freestyle's polyurethane foam core. The result was a compact ski with relatively high torsioinal stiffness. Rossignol said the ski was "meant to turn, turn, turn."
